SENDING SUNDAY - 10TH JUNE 2018

We celebrate this next phase in our journey as a church - part of our call is to send people out to extend the kingdom into other locations. The Watson’s have recently moved to Sittingbourne to plant a church and things are falling into place - keep up to date here: http://www.hopesittingbourne.org/ - We want to honour them and give them a proper send off.  

On Sunday 10th June during the morning meeting, we will be officially sending them out as a family, like arrows moving towards the target with prayer, celebration and expectation. Join us for the morning but also for a picnic afterwards from 1.30pm - venue off site TBC.

Don’t worry they will be back from time to time to update us on developments but this will mark the end of an era and so our joy at moving forward will be rightly mixed with a sense of loss (grief) as we say goodbye to dear friends. Grieving is not just about painful bereavements but also about other areas of ‘loss’ such as seasons of transition which mean leaving behind the familiar and moving into the unknown.
