On Sunday, 14th July 2019 we had the pleasure of having our good friend Jordan Olney from Pioneer 61 encouraging us as a visiting speaker.
Jordan is spending a year networking with the Relational Mission family of churches to explore church planting dynamics and to establish contacts and supply lines towards pioneering a new church in Tete, Mozambique with Pioneer 61 sometime in 2020. Jordans message can be heard via the link below: It was fab to have such a great turnout for An Evening with Luke. We had the pleasure of hosting 22 friends from across Relational Mission churches in Canterbury, Faversham, Medway, Maidstone & Sittingbourne to hear nuggets of pioneering wisdom from Luke Morrisson of Risen Light Church Helsinki.
It's great that even when we are little more than a handful of people gathering together in a room we can still play our part in getting caught up in apostolic mission to nations with friends! #moretogether #relationalmission #kent #newfrontiers #pioneering #missionalchurch On Friday, 29th June we had the privilege of 1,000s of people across nations and time zones in Relational Mission churches praying for Hope Church Sittingbourne at #ENOUGH. If you missed it, here is a short video we recorded to help people in their prayers for us here at Hope Church Sittingbourne - Thank you for standing with us! #prayersofmany #newfrontiers #relationalmission #moretogetherthanapart #roots #hearts #smiles #Sittingbourne #Swale #Kent We wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to those that made the effort on a lovely sunny Friday evening (29th June 2018) to travel over to #Sittingbourne for #ENOUGH to pray for multiple Relational Mission #Kent pioneering contexts, including our own. Seeing friends gathered and united in fellowship, worship and prayer from across all of Kent, and especially giving some local Sittingbourne friends exposure to how we go about things, was such a joy and I welled up a few times. One of the couples that have recently joined up with us/Hope Church Sittingbourne were there for the whole evening and commented “This is the best prayer meeting we’ve been to in over 15 years!!” #wow We were blessed to have friends there from Sittingbourne churches and friends representing the Swale CAP Debt Centre and Sittingbourne Foodbank. We came home with bundles of cards and pieces of paper covered with prophetic words, prayers and encouragements - I chatted with each of the other guys representing the pioneering works into Dover, Sheppey and Margate and know that they too were so encouraged with the sense of togetherness and unity demonstrated throughout the night - So good! It took a small army of people to make it all happen. We’re really thankful for those that sacrificially served to make the BBQ, refreshments, communion, worship and hosting all possible - Thank you! The date for our next #ENOUGH night of prayer is Friday, 16th November 2018. Can we please encourage you to get the date in your diaries now and do all you can to join in with the #prayersofmany - Venue to be confirmed. |
