What are Households?
We live with a great big vision to see HOUSEHOLDS established across Sittingbourne, each one expressing and outworking our collective mission of multiplying the HOPE of Jesus in our local communities of Milton, Kemsley, Tunstall, Borden, Bobbing, Murston, Teynham, Highsted, Bapchild, Rodmersham and Iwade.
The life of HOUSEHOLDS revolve around the three basic rhythms of healthy discipleship:
- UPWARD: Enjoying Gods presence together & seeking His blessing for our households, workplaces & neighbourhood(s).
- INWARD: Enjoying & intentionally investing in friendship, fellowship, fun & food together.
- OUTWARD: Enjoying sharing Jesus in practical ways as we reach out to those in the places we work, rest & play.
When do Households meet?
HOUSEHOLDS gather together every fortnight, usually on a Wednesday or a Thursday evening in various locations across Sittingbourne.
We currently have four HOUSEHOLDS that are meeting regularly.

- The Lighthouse (Samuels home) - Arrive from 7pm, 7:30pm start
- South Sittingbourne (Watsons home) - Arrive from 7pm, 7:30pm start
- Teynham & E. Sittingbourne (Gregorys home) - 7:30pm start
On a Thursday night there is one HOUSEHOLD taking place:
- Central Sittingbourne (Hudsons home) - Arrive 7:15pm, 7:30pm start

Honour Jesus...
We honour Jesus as the King of our lives.
We intentionally honour the Kingship of Lord Jesus, pursuing His Kingdom rule & reign in our everyday lives. |
Obey His Word...There are two authorities in the life of a disciple; the Word of God & the Spirit of God.
We encourage one another to read Gods Word & follow the leading of His Spirit as He inspires us towards faithful obedience & lasting transformation. |
Pray beyond ourselves...Prayer is the oxygen of the Christian life.
We aspire to be a people who not only pray for one another, but who's spiritual hearts and minds are focused on the condition & needs of the wider world, including those whom Jesus has placed us among. |
Everyone a Witness...We each have personal stories to share of Jesus at work in our lives.
We encourage one another towards ever increasing Gospel confidence, so that Jesus Christ might be made known to everyone, everywhere, everyday. |
