Discover the life skills needed for a low income...
Hope Church Sittingbourne has partnered with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to offer CAP Life Skills courses in our local community. We hope to offer our next CAP Life Skills course as an online group in September 2021, running for 8 consecutive weeks, in partnership with the Moat Foundation & Strengthening Minds.
Money impacts all areas of our lives: what we can or can’t afford, our relationships, what we eat, our health and wellbeing and much more. Your local CAP Life Skills is a friendly group where you’ll gain practical skills and discover new ways to live for a brighter future. If you want to stay on top of your household bills, see your money go further, eat well on a budget or grow in self-confidence, then CAP Life Skills is for you! It will teach you real ways to save time, money and hassle in your day-to-day life. You’ll learn practical skills from our trained coaches alongside like-minded people in a relaxed and fun environment. CAP Life Skills is a friendly group that gives people the confidence and decision making skills they need to survive life on a low income. We teach people practical money saving techniques, such as cooking on a budget, living healthily on less, and making your money go further. This community service is completely free. Please contact our CAP Life Skills manager, Natalie Watson, if you would like to register to attend a CAP Life Skills course:

The Life Skills sessions are brilliant - it helped with budgeting. Having that community and those people there that you wouldn’t usually speak to. It made a real big difference in my life. |
