Lets talk about Sundays...
When & where do you meet?
We gather every Sunday morning to worship King Jesus together at Meadowfield School (ME10 4NL). We meet in the main hall, which is a short walk from the free on-site car park (see site-map for location). We encourage people to arrive from 9:45am to have opportunity to meet one another, get a drink, get settled and to give us opportunity to meet & welcome any visitors and first-timers. We aim to start our morning together with worship at 10am and aim to finish the service by approx. 11:30am. Self-service refreshments are available upon arrival and throughout the service . We aim to be off the school site by 12:15pm. Free on-site parking There is a free on-site car park, the entrance is accessed via the gated entrance on Swanstree Avenue from the Canterbury Road end (see site map). There will be a member of our Welcome Team wearing a hi-viz jacket in and around the car park area to show you where to go once you are parked. The exit to the car park is via automatic gates (opposite the main school reception) which open inwards automatically as you approach them by car. What should I expect? We usually have a combination of sung worship, prayer & Spirit-filled contributions, shared communion and exploring a biblical theme or topic through inspirational teaching/preaching. We have additional social time after the morning service for making new friends and meeting old ones in a fun environment over a hot or cold drink (and sometimes tasty cake!). We currently welcome approx. 50 people of all ages and backgrounds most weeks. The church has a great multicultural feel and it’s a fairly relational and casual environment suitable for all the family. What about children? We think of our Sunday mornings as an extension of our shared family life together... we love having young and old together throughout, worshipping Jesus together. We have recently launched Hope Kids (provision for those aged 4yrs-11yrs) which runs every fortnight. On the Sundays where we are all-in together, parents/carers/guardians are encouraged to remain directly responsible for any young people under their care. Several of us at Hope Church Sittingbourne have young children through to young adults. Accessibility The main hall is on the first floor. There is an adjacent ramped entrance to the hall for those with buggies or who have mobility issues. Male and female washroom facilities are located in the corridor to the rear of the main hall. Giving / Tithing As a church we encourage one another to have faith to give joyfully, consistently, proportionally and generously in-line with the Bibles teaching. Giving can be done in a number of ways, such as in-person on Sundays, via direct standing order with your bank, or online. More info on giving can be found on our GIVING page. Please note:

How else might I get involved?
Engage with HOPE HOUSEHOLDS...
We believe that the church is a family of people on a mission, and far more than just a Sunday gathering. The church we see in the New Testament is a community that observably loves Jesus, and one another, and gives itself to making the Good News of Jesus the King (and His Kingdom) known to others in practical ways. With this in mind we meet fortnightly together in HOPE HOUSEHOLDS across Sittingbourne. |
Partner with us in prayer...
Throughout each month we pray specifically and strategically for Sittingbourne & beyond at our Breakthrough Prayer evenings. These times of prayer are usually hosted on Sunday evenings in local homes. We also host weekly Early Morning online prayer meetings on a Tuesday, as well as regular Encounter evenings. Dates for these are on the church calendar.

Support Hope Church Sittingbourne financially...
We believe in generous, consistent, proportionate and joyful giving. The teachings of Jesus indicate joyful generosity to be an indicator of a thankful heart and an expression of our worship.
All of our funding is generated directly through the generosity of our local church community, and supporters from outside of our local setting (we don't have external funding sources such as denominational grants).
As a legally registered UK charity (#1186867) Hope Church Sittingbourne operates within the legal charity framework of the Charity Commission. All of our finances and legal records are audited annually and available publicly. Our resources are faithfully stewarded by an excellent team of trustees who diligently serve in supporting the ongoing vision of our leadership team.
