Lets talk about Sundays...
When & where do you meet?
From Sunday, 2nd July Hope Church Sittingbourne will be meeting at Fulston Manor Secondary School (ME10 4EG) as our new Sunday morning venue. Over the summer months we'll be meeting in the Drama Studio which is part of the Millennium Hall block (see site map below for location). The Millennium Hall block is visible from the free on-site car park and just a short 30-second walk. We encourage people to arrive from 9:45am to have opportunity to meet one another, get settled and to give us opportunity to meet & welcome any visitors and first-timers. We aim to start our morning together with worship at 10am and will aim to finish the service by approx. 11:30am. Free on-site parking There is a free on-site car park, the entrance is accessed via the Brenchley Road roundabout that meets with Bluebell Drive (opposite the entrance to Eden Village). It has a large sign reading 'CAR PARK C'. The car park is a short 30-second walk to the Millennium Hall block. What should I expect? We usually have a combination of sung worship, prayer & Spirit-filled contributions, communion and exploring a biblical theme or topic through inspirational teaching/preaching. We have additional social time after the morning service for making new friends and meeting old ones in a fun environment over a hot or cold drink (and sometimes tasty cake!). Drinks will be served in the lobby area and can be enjoyed in the lobby or in the outer courtyard. We need to be off-site by 12:30pm. We currently have approx. 40+ people of all ages gathering with us most weeks. It’s a fairly relational and casual environment with a family feel. Please note:
What about children? Our mornings are organised with children/families in mind. Several of the Hope Church Sittingbourne family have young children through to older teenagers & young adults. Please be aware that we don't have specific provision for children's work, all parents/carers/guardians are encouraged to remain directly responsible for any young people with them. We think of our Sunday mornings as an extension of our shared family life together.. we love having young and old together throughout, worshipping Jesus together. Accessibility Fulston Manor has great access & washroom facilities are available for those with mobility issues. The facilities are located in the lobby area. Giving / Tithing As a church we encourage and teach people to give joyfully, consistently, proportionally and generously in-line with the Bibles teaching. Giving can be done in a number of ways, such as in-person on Sundays, via direct standing order with your bank, or online. More info can be found on our GIVING page. Please note:

How else might I get involved?
We believe that mission is best when done with friends, so meaningful relationships are a huge priority for us.
Engage with HOPE HOUSEHOLDS...
We believe that the church is a family of people on a mission, and about far more than Sunday morning gatherings. The church we see in the New Testament is a community that observably loves Jesus, and one another, and gives itself to making the Good News of Jesus the King, and His Kingdom, known to others in a multitude of ways. With this in mind we meet fortnightly together in HOPE HOUSEHOLDS across Sittingbourne. |
Partner with us in prayer...
Every fortnight we pray specifically and strategically for Sittingbourne & beyond at our Breakthrough Prayer evenings. These are usually hosted on Sunday evenings from 7:30pm to 8:30pm in local homes.
